Facing life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating anxiety, trauma, or the weight of feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. I understand how much courage it takes to reach out for support—whether you’re a young adult trying to find your path, someone processing the impact of past experiences, or navigating life as a neurodivergent individual. My passion lies in walking alongside you as you uncover your strengths and move toward healing.
In our work together, I strive to create a space where you feel seen and understood. I value creativity and adaptability in therapy, meeting you exactly where you are and offering approaches that align with your unique needs.
I’m deeply committed to helping you break free from the weight of old patterns to create meaningful, lasting change. With the right tools and support, it’s possible to build a life with more resilience, balance, and peace.

More than just my work:
I have 2 cats and love to play instruments in my spare time. I find they help me feel grounded and calm.
One of my favorite quotes is: “It becomes easier for me to accept myself as a decidedly imperfect person, who by no means functions at all times in the way in which I would like to function. This must seem to some like a very strange direction in which to move. It seems to me to have value because the curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then I change.” - Carl Rogers

About Gabriella
Life is hard sometimes. Really hard. Often we believe that if we’re struggling, something must be wrong with us. As a recovering perfectionist, I understand how challenging it can be to push through our stress and anxiety and fight against our inner critic that makes us believe we can’t. It can feel impossible not to get trapped by these thoughts and feel unsure about how to move forward in our lives.
My therapeutic approach focuses firstly on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients - therapy only helps if the client feels safe and heard by their therapist, and I am committed to never taking a client’s trust and time for granted. Using skills based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, let’s help you learn to get “unstuck” from your difficult thoughts and feelings and to make space for them with acceptance and self-compassion. We’ll explore how to “put down the sword and shield” against your own mind and uncover your personal strengths and values to help you begin to make choices that are aligned with what you truly want for your life.
I am passionate about supporting my clients to discover their inner “superheroes”, no matter what challenges they may face, and I believe that an empowered client is a healing one. My aim is to utilize the your personal strengths in order to build insight, improve relationships, and increase coping. My ultimate goal is to help you find the strength you need to “tie the cape around your own shoulders” and to support you in integrating the skills learned in treatment to create a balanced and positive life.

More than just my work:
My first love has always been music, and I have been singing since I could talk (mostly Disney and show tunes). I’m always either humming or singing a tune and love attending live musicals with my spouse and family. I am also a diehard Bay Area sports fan - proud member of the 49ers Faithful and Dub Nation! If I’m not at a show or watching a game, I’m usually reading, cooking one of my family’s amazing Italian recipes, or browsing a local antique faire or market for some amazing vintage clothing pieces!
One of my favorite quotes: “Just listen to your gut, and on the way down to your gut, check in with your heart. Between those two things, they’ll let you know what’s what.” - Ted Lasso

I work with clients who have experienced a history of trauma, including childhood trauma, exposure to traumatic events, or any form of perceived harm. Many of the individuals I support are people of color, neurodivergent, or members of the LGBTQ+ community who have faced relational wounds throughout their lives. These experiences can make it difficult to trust others, navigate deep connections, or feel a sense of belonging. You may find yourself struggling with painful memories, patterns in relationships that feel hard to change, or uncertainty about your values and identity. Together, we can create a space where these experiences are acknowledged with care and understanding.
My approach focuses on building trust and consistency, allowing us to explore your story at a pace that feels right for you. Through a trauma-informed and culturally inclusive approach, we will identify patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen your ability to navigate relationships, and develop practical tools for healing. My goal is to help you clarify your values, establish practices that support your well-being, and step more fully into your authentic self.
I bring a decade of experience in program management, community-based public health initiatives, and school-based therapy. I specialize in trauma-focused psychotherapy for adults and provide clinical supervision to board-certified associate therapists. While earning my Master’s degree at the University of San Francisco, I worked as a program manager at the Sacramento Native American Health Center and completed my licensure hours at a nonprofit counseling center. Now based in the Sacramento area, I remain actively engaged in multiple health and wellness communities, continuing my commitment to holistic care and community well-being.

In a world that often demands we put on a brave face and “keep it all together,” asking for help can feel daunting. As a mom, wife, and business owner, I know how overwhelming it can be to think about healing ourselves while juggling the constant demands of life. Carving out time for support often feels like just another challenge on an already full plate.
My approach honors the time you set aside for therapy as one of the most compassionate and empowering choices you can make for yourself. Through mindful, trauma-focused therapies, you can find space to slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface, and begin to heal the parts of you that feel stuck or overwhelmed.
We’ll work together to identify the specific thoughts, behaviors, and emotions holding you back, creating a clear path to break through those patterns. As we address what’s been weighing on you, you’ll start to feel more in control, equipped to manage daily stresses, and more connected to your true self.
